What Remains (Version 2 – 2016)

A Dance for the Camera piece in homage to those who grieve over loved ones lost. This concept was revamped from an earlier assignment also called “What Remains (Version 1),” where the reappearing girl was simply a ‘magical helper.’ The concept changed dramatically at the addition of the picture frame which established a previous relationship between the two dancers. Both projects stand strong as their own pieces, but have an entirely different message all from the difference of one prop.

This was the final project for a “Dance for the Camera” class taught under Joseph Kraemer and Susan Mann.

“What Remains Version 1” is also public on her youtube channel and won 2nd place at Towson University’s Media Arts Festival.

Danielle has plans to shoot more dance films in the future.

Collaborating is Caring

I’m always excited to work with new people. Shoot me a message and we’ll get to planning.
